A catch-all email mailbox receives emails sent to invalid addresses under the exact same domain name. For instance, an email sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can get emails from partners or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a typographical error or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at some moment you may begin receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation implies that the spam will not be redirected to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

Configuring a catch-all mailbox will be pretty easy in case you’ve got a cloud hosting plan with us. You can activate this option through our powerful, yet user-friendly Email Manager tool, which is included in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you will administer your account. You will find all the email addresses that you have created enumerated alphabetically and on the right side of each one of them there will be a tiny "Catch-all" icon, which will instantly inform you if a specific mailbox gets all the email messages pertaining to a given domain or not. With one single click on the icon you can activate or deactivate the feature at any time. In case there’s active email forwarding or if some other mailbox has already been configured as a catch-all one for a given domain name, you’ll get an alert from our system. The latter won’t replace/disable anything automatically and without your approval.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

You will be able to create a catch-all address with no more than a click in case you have a semi-dedicated hosting plan with our company and your email messages are handled by our cloud hosting platform. All the mailboxes that you create with any domain hosted in your semi-dedicated account will be listed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Each of them will have a tiny "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to enable this functionality will be to click on that icon. In the exact same manner you will be able to deactivate the feature, in case you do not need it any longer. Our system will warn you in case you are trying to activate a second catch-all address for a specific domain name or if there’s activated email forwarding, but it will never modify or disable anything automatically or without your consent.
